This style has more of an artistic approach and may involve the use of fabrics, silhouettes , or gorgeous gowns. Some Mom’s-to-be even opt to bare it all and proudly show off all of their new curves. Posing and post processing has a big impact in how the final images with Fine Art Maternity turn out. An outdoor or on-location Maternity Photo Session is customized to clients personalities and the look they are trying to achieve. Some of my favorite spots for outdoor Maternity Sessions here is South Florida are Parkland Golf and Country Club, one of the many gorgeous beaches, Tree Tops Park in Davie and Quiet Water’s Park in Pompano Beach. Having your shoot done in more of an urban setting is also very popular. For example, having your photo shoot done on the top of a parking garage with downtown Miami in the background, coupled with a dramatic Maternity gown makes for gorgeous portraits. The last style, a Lifestyle Maternity Photo Session, is typically done in the clients home and incorporates more of a photo-journalistic approach. Snuggling on the couch, sitting in the baby’s carefully decorated nursery or laying on a hammock together with your significant other on the patio. Special moments commemorating the expecting baby on the way and showcasing all the love and excitement between the soon to be parents.
